April through November 2010, I worked for Harvard Apparatus as a Web Developer. My tasks here have included: general site maintenance, creation of web content, troubleshooting rendering problems and developing of html email promotionals for Harvard Apparatus and several of it's subsidiaries.

Early Spring of 2010, I was hired for an internet project with nSight located in Burlington, Ma. Main tasks included assistance with integration of Drupal CMS (Content Management System) with Nsights website , and to update the category banner assets. During the project I also troubleshooting several layout issues and designed some sample layout mockups.

Late fall of 2009, I was pulled into Boston College for a temporary assignment. Tasks Included: troubleshooting rendering problems/bugs with older html emails, editing and creation of web content graphics and text, design and develop new HTML email layouts, design of layout for future web projects, creation of graphic content using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, photography: photo shoots, photo editing and processing of raw images.

Designing for mobile devices is difficult because of the varied features and capabilities all mobile devices across the market. The ipohone/itouch design includes a single column layout, locked screen size (no page zooming), navigation that is cut back as you drop into subpages, page elements that change with device orientation. the Work page uses a fixed navigation element that bounces scrolled content back to the top of the page. The simpler cell phone portfolio site is designed to fit hit the largest common denominator of cell phones considering screen size, color, image rendering, and web browsing power. Design includes a single column layout, access keys enabled navigation, limited subpage navigation, images disabled friendly.

During the fall season of 2008, I worked for Gentex Optics as a Graphic Design contractor. My main task was to design a series of corporate looking layouts for the Netpresenter interactive screensaver software running on desktop computers, large LCD screen televisions and projectors.

my photography gallery was a personal project. The site has a horizonal layout and offers a place for my personal photos. The smaller vertical photos are click-able and become larger using the Jquery (thickbox technique). The larger horizontal photos match this layout and don't have thickbox coding.

The Andy paperbag: Flash biography website is a tribute to the Pop Artist. The site was designed and partically developed while taking a course in Flash. varibles are set when animation are shown, action script 2 coding then stops the site from showning redundant animations. Many elements in the site rely on the user interaction and make for an entertaining experience.

The Ukrainian Cook site was also school project using the Word Press blogging engine as a Content Management System. Content is created as posts. Tag attributes are assigned to posts and when the user clicks on 'topic' link from the menu an Archive list will appear with all the recipes or post under that selection.
